George Ramsey is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Maryland Paranormal Society, a respected investigative organization dedicated to evidence‑based paranormal research, historical preservation, and public education. With years of field experience and a reputation for professionalism, George has become a recognized voice in Maryland’s paranormal community—known for his disciplined approach, clear communication, and unwavering commitment to integrity.
Driven by a lifelong interest in unexplained phenomena and the stories that shape Maryland’s haunted history, George established the Maryland Paranormal Society to create a team that values credibility over sensationalism. Under his leadership, the Society follows strict investigative protocols, utilizes professional‑grade equipment, and maintains a client‑first philosophy rooted in respect, confidentiality, and honesty.
George oversees all aspects of the organization, including case management, investigative strategy, evidence review, public outreach, and team development. He is also a lead presenter for Beyond the Shadows: A Conversation About the Paranormal, a PG‑friendly educational program offered at libraries, historical venues, and community events across the region. His presentations blend historical insight, investigative experience, and audience engagement—often beginning with the questions, “Who here believes in the paranormal?” and “Who here has had a paranormal experience?”

Administration & Operations Coordinator, Maryland Paranormal Society
Katie Ramsey also the wife of George Ramsey serves as the Administration & Operations Coordinator for the Maryland Paranormal Society, providing the essential organizational support that keeps the team running smoothly behind the scenes. While she does not participate in field investigations, Katie plays a critical role in the success, professionalism, and public presence of the Society.
With a strong background in organization, communication, and administrative management, Katie oversees the day‑to‑day operations that allow investigators to focus fully on research, evidence collection, and client support. She manages scheduling, documentation, event coordination, communication workflows, and the administrative needs of both the team and the organization.
Katie is also a key contributor to the Society’s public outreach efforts. She assists with planning community events, preparing presentation materials, organizing registration and logistics, and ensuring that every public appearance reflects the professionalism and integrity of the Maryland Paranormal Society. Her attention to detail and commitment to clarity help maintain the polished, credible image the Society is known for.

Hello! My name is Erin and I am and have always been into the paranormal. Ever since I was a kid I have always been intrigued by what could be on the other side. My parents thought I was a bit out of my mind when I told them "I think there's a ghost in your house" at the age of 10 and it wasn't until I turned 31 and did an investigation at my childhood home that they believed me. I've always been a kind, considerate, and patient person when it comes to the paranormal, I've never pushed or begged for communication but always let it happen when it happens.
I love hearing about the history of the spirit "where it came from" "where did they live" "did they have a family" you know all those things and I have been dedicated to helping spirits realize that they don't have to stay here and they can go anywhere they please to be more at peace in the afterlife.
